Book Reading & Signing: The Jailer & His Daughter

Experience a special afternoon with OWLS Club volunteer and teacher Kirsten “Kiki” L Klassen as she shares a reading from her newest novel, The Jailer & His Daughter (released by Masthof Press in April).
Inspired by the historical story of the Mennonite martyr Dirk Willems, the book explores the powerful and little-told perspective of the jailer and his daughter, whose lives were forever changed by Willems’ remarkable act of compassion.
Kirsten will read excerpts from the novel, talk about the inspiration behind the story, answer questions from the audience, and sign copies of her book (which will be available for $18 cash/check).
This is a wonderful opportunity to hear from one of our own talented OWLS members and engage in a thoughtful conversation about history, faith, and storytelling.
If you can’t make this event but would like to purchase a copy of the book and support the author, you can find it on Masthob Press & Bookstore using the link below.
