Acting Ensemble will perform Lauren Gunderson’s “Artemisia,” a historical drama about one of the most celebrated female artists of the 17th Century who lived her life on her own terms as an artist, mother, and lover.
The play costs $16 for seniors and begins at 2 p.m. For those who want to eat first, meet at Cheddar’s at noon.
We’ll order off the menu and pay individually. Jeff and Elizabeth Merwin will be our hosts. They’re former Sooners, former Floridians before that, and now consider themselves to be Hoosiers. They love all things theater, from Broadway to the local community playhouse. Elizabeth prefers being in the audience, which Jeff also enjoys, but he absolutely loves the stage.
