Looking for a fun and meaningful way to give back while spending time with others? Knitting & Crochet: Stitching for a Cause is a welcoming group for all skill levels—whether you knit, crochet, or are eager to learn.
Using donated yarn, we’ll create simple handmade items like hats, scarves, mittens, and baby goods to donate to local organizations such as local schools, RETA (Pregnancy Clinic & Family Resources), The Salvation Army, and Bashor Children’s Home.
The group will decide together where each project goes, and as the weather warms, we may even take our stitching outside!
We provide yarn, patterns, and basic supplies, but feel free to bring your own materials or donate any extra yarn or needles/hooks you have at home.
Come enjoy great conversation, learn new techniques, and make a difference—one stitch at a time!
If you are able and willing to donate supplies, please bring them to the front desk or directly to Maggie O. and Kristen’s office.
